The Science Behind Perceived Communication with the Deceased

Chapter 1: The Comfort of Belief
It’s a comforting thought to imagine reuniting with our loved ones in a blissful afterlife filled with beauty and peace. The sensation of feeling a cherished individual’s presence after they have passed can be very reassuring. Naturally, we desire to be close to those we love, rather than being separated from them.
I understand the appeal of mediums and seances—the urge to connect with those who have departed. The act of placing flowers at gravesites is undeniably touching. However, let’s clarify one point: once someone is laid to rest, they no longer experience the aroma of flowers or witness the sorrow of their loved ones at their tombstone.
But I miss Grandma!
Unfortunately, she doesn’t miss you. She has moved on to a more joyful existence. Life is for those still living—so embrace it. Is this harsh? Not at all; this is grounded in science. There is no evidence that a deceased person communicates with the living—none whatsoever.
You might argue, "But what if it happens?" Well, let’s consider this: have you recently hit the billion-dollar Powerball jackpot? Didn’t think so. The chances of you making contact with someone who has passed away are astronomically lower than winning that lottery. In reality, the odds are essentially zero.
What about movies like Ghost?
Sure, it featured a memorable scene where Patrick Swayze’s ghost appears to Demi Moore at the pottery wheel. However, that wasn’t a ghost; it was a creation of Demi's imagination. Perhaps the pottery materials she used contained some questionable substances, or maybe she was under the influence or experiencing mental health issues.
The idea of hearing voices from those who have passed is not something to pursue; it could lead to serious consequences, like a stay at a psychiatric facility or an unwelcome role in a Hollywood film.
Hollywood’s Influence
It’s astonishing how frequently Hollywood has depicted the concept of the dead communicating with the living. I’ve lost track, but I’d estimate that over a billion films have attempted to portray this phenomenon, and I doubt I’ve seen them all!
Why does this happen? Marlon Brando famously stated that “there’s no such thing as art in Hollywood. It’s all about the money.” I appreciate Brando for his candidness, as he often spoke truths that others shy away from.
The first video features Dr. Oz discussing the enigmatic ways our loved ones might reach out from beyond the grave. It explores the emotional aspects of perceived communication and the science behind it.
Back to the topic: no, the deceased do not communicate. So, although Brando’s character, Jor-El, might speak in Superman, he’s fictional and has superpowers—something no human possesses, even posthumously.
These days, the majority of films revolve around superhuman abilities. If an alien were to watch Earth’s cinema, they might conclude that our planet is home to a bizarre mix of creatures and powers, and they’d surely want to leave immediately.
The notion that death does not signify the end is merely a fairy tale designed to fill theater seats and enrich Hollywood executives. The belief that heightened sensitivity grants you the ability to perceive messages from the deceased is unfounded.
But I see dead people!
No, you don’t. The twist in that famous film was clever, but it was ultimately fictional. There’s no sixth sense, nor is there a fifth flavor. I’ve tried to experience what’s called umami but have never managed to.
Thanks to Hollywood for perpetuating these myths. Such fabrications contribute to why people believe in conspiracy theories like Q Anon.
Can you blame them? They’ve been fed a steady diet of fantasy and farce since childhood, wrapped neatly in a Hollywood package.
The second video discusses the scientific perspective on communicating directly with spirits, confirming that while intriguing, these connections have no basis in scientific fact.
I’m here to express my condolences for your loss. It’s a universal experience; everyone encounters grief. The wise guru once advised, “Visit the village and return only when you find a family that has never faced sorrow.”
The woman who lost her child discovered that no such family exists. Through this realization, she found liberation and enlightenment.
That’s my goal—liberation and enlightenment for you. I’m not here to bring you down but to guide you toward a clearer understanding of reality.
This clarity is rare in the modern world. Only a select few have reached such an understanding—about 20,000, to be precise.
Let’s keep this a secret between us; the more popular something is, the less valuable it becomes. Thank goodness Clem Samson isn’t a household name; otherwise, this article would be even less significant.
In the future, “to Clem-Samson” may become a term to describe the act of seeing through deception—speaking plainly when falsehoods abound. It will signify a commitment to truth, even at the cost of personal sacrifice.
But by then, who knows? Clem Samson might be co-opted and diminished, just as many great thinkers have been throughout history.
For now, enjoy the message while it lasts, and stay cautious. After I’m gone, avoid any pottery work—I might just surprise you!
