While the initial earnings were minimal (we’re talking about $0.50 for every 1,000 pageviews), it was enough to facilitate a migration to WordPress along with a basic hosting service. Gradually, I was constructing a sustainable venture.

Step 2: Entering Mediavine for Serious Earnings

After transitioning to WordPress, I applied to Mediavine, an advertising agency that collaborates with bloggers. Two months later, I received the approval, and that’s when my income experienced a significant boost—from mere pennies per view to a substantial $30 per 1,000 views. This marked the beginning of my income growth.

Step 3: Monetizing Knowledge with Gumroad

To expand my email list, I gathered my top blog posts into free eBooks. But why keep these valuable resources entirely free? Enter Gumroad. This remarkable platform allows you to sell digital products without any upfront costs.

I uploaded my eBooks and implemented a "pay what you want" pricing model with a minimum of $7. The best part? Gumroad promotes your products to its audience. The more you engage with the platform (I contribute 50% of my sales), the greater your visibility. It’s truly a win-win situation!
