Title: Enhancing My Solopreneur Journey in 2024: More and Less

Chapter 1: Embracing Change in 2024
As we approach the new year, it's time to streamline my efforts.
A quick note: this discussion isn’t about my fitness goals.
That would be a comedic detour. Instead, let me share how my perception of exercise transformed from dread to delight.
In the past, I had multiple gym memberships. I would commit for a while, only to lose motivation later. Then, I’d catch a glimpse of myself in those unforgiving mirrors at a clothing store, and suddenly, I’d feel compelled to rejoin.
Initially, I found the gym intimidating. As a shorter guy with glasses, I felt out of place among the towering, muscular individuals who seemed more interested in showing off than actually working out (seriously, how did they get that strong?).
Cardio was my nemesis. Although running seemed essential for shedding calories, I was never a natural runner. I’d struggle through treadmill sessions, cycle on stationary bikes, and exhaust myself on cross trainers. None of it was enjoyable, nor did it lead to significant changes in my physique. While I might have gained some fitness, the visual results were minimal.
Everything changed when I began strength training. Admittedly, the weights weren’t massive, but they felt substantial at that moment. Before long, I noticed tangible improvements: those stubborn pounds disappeared, my limbs became toned, and I even built some muscle. All this happened because I reduced cardio sessions and focused more on weight lifting.
(This isn’t a critique of cardio; it’s simply my personal experience).
More and Less: A New Approach
This concept is what I aim to embody as a solopreneur in 2024. I want to dedicate more time to activities that enrich my life rather than complicate it.
I plan to enjoy coffee outings with my wife, take our dogs on extended forest hikes, delve into books, experiment with new recipes, and maintain a regular workout routine. To achieve this, I must cut back on activities that don’t significantly contribute to my solo business goals and concentrate on actions that foster growth and development.

- Creating elaborate social media posts
- Interacting with larger social media profiles solely for exposure
- Overanalyzing and adjusting my offers
- Producing "safe" content to avoid upsetting my audience
- Pursuing uninterested business partnerships
- Limiting my coaching clients
- Obsessing over follower counts or reach
- Investing time in unprofitable income streams
- Worrying about others' opinions of me
