Celebrating Triumph: A Journey to Confidence and Resilience
Written on
Chapter 1: Embracing Good Fortune
Reflect on your blessings, if only for a moment.
Once, twice, or even thrice a day!
Fortune is yours to recognize, trust me.
I sometimes miss it too,
but I feel gratitude when I catch glimpses.
Surprise it with your focus,
evaluate it with the same scrutiny
you apply to setbacks.
Replay those moments of victory
with the same intensity as failures.
You faced your fears,
closed your eyes, and took a leap,
transcending them like a wraith.
Now, you carry an additional weight
of newfound confidence.
Suddenly, gloomy days lose their sting.
Let the rain drench you,
washing away the grime and corrosion.
Cherish the storms;
even if your journey wasn’t flawless or simple,
it still counts.
A victory is a victory.
The odds that once seemed insurmountable
have not only been overcome
but rendered insignificant.
Feel free to smile with a hint of mischief,
even if your ultimate goal remains elusive;
you have another opportunity to succeed.
Winning streaks may emerge,
alongside slumps, dull moments, and misfortune,
and you’re weary from navigating those tides.
Many of these are self-imposed,
so don’t chastise yourself
or diminish your own wisdom.
We are inherently designed to learn,
and to learn again.
You can continuously impress yourself,
support your own journey,
and challenge your doubts.
The hurdles we face are trivial
in comparison to the genuine ones:
food and love.
Beyond that, life is a piece of cake.
Others aren't keeping track of
your personal scoreboard as you might think.
Just remember to stay connected with your allies.
Triumph is even sweeter when shared.
“There’s no ‘I’ in ‘team,’ but there is in ‘win.’”
