# Embracing a New Week: Focusing on the Present

Chapter 1: Setting Intentions for the Week
As we embark on a fresh week, what lies ahead for these next seven days, dear reader? Personally, I plan to take a cue from the starling’s behavior and concentrate solely on what’s immediately around me. That’s my commitment.

This week, I’m determined to steer clear of perfectionism. That’s one resolution I can confidently make. There won’t be multiple drafts or endless refinements. The groundwork was established last week, and now it's time to execute. A second review will suffice.
Once more, I’m bidding farewell to the need for perfectionism. This week, I plan to complete all six submissions and uploads: the document for Jack, the two Annual Obligations, the OI, and the three Inspirations will all be checked off my list.
I’ll also reach out to friends and family, sharing a meal and laughter with one, and sending a heartfelt Thank You note to another. My Intermittent Fasting will continue, and I aim to focus on wholesome eating.
Facing challenges directly will ensure that issues are resolved more swiftly. I’ll add a Medium post each day and maintain a grateful mindset.
Distractions will not sway me; my focus will remain on the tasks at hand, just like the starlings flying together in the winter sky.
